1.何等朋友我主耶穌 擔我罪孽負我憂
何等權利能將難處 到主面前去祈求
What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in pray’r!
多少平安屢屢喪失 多少痛苦無須受
無非我們未將萬事 到主面前去祈求
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in pray’r!
2.我們有否苦難艱辛 有否試探和引誘
不能因此失望灰心 應當向主去祈求
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in pray’r.
誰能像祂忠實穩妥 背我重擔分我愁
惟祂知我每一軟弱 故當向主去祈求
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in pray’r.
3.我們是否疲倦苦楚 思慮重擔壓心頭
救主仍舊是避難處 應當向祂去祈求
Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge
Take it to the Lord in pray’r.
朋友有否賣你棄你 應當向主去祈求
祂的懷抱是你護庇 經祂撫慰必無憂
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in pray’r.
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
